Danes Hill Gymnastics
On Monday 14th March the ND Year 5 and 6 girls took part in the Danes Hill Inaugural Gymnastics competition. This requires the girls to complete a set floor routine and a vault. It was a wonderful day of gymnastics, with all the girls achieving a personal best in their performances, showing a supporting attitude towards their peers and achieving great results.
The ND team won the overall trophy and we had these great individual placings;
U10
Beginner 3rd Place- Olive B (Year 4)
Novice, 1st Place Evelyn F and 2nd Place Holly H
U12
Novice- 3rd Place Sofia N
Elite- 2nd Place Milla
We very much look forward to next year and more gymnastic in-between.
Swimming
Gala at GHS
Team ND did so well at the gala on Tuesday! We won 5 medals 2 x 1st, 1 x 2nd and 2 x 3rd We finished 3rd overall in both year groups.
Well done girls!

No infant swim squad next Tuesday 22nd March, and no year 3 & 4 swim squad on 22nd March Due to sports festival
Hockey
Year 2 Hockey v Rowan
Thank you to Rowan for hosting a wonderful afternoon of Year 2 hockey. The ND girls are showing fantastic progression in their skills and games understanding. A fun afternoon had by all.

U10 Surrey Cup
The U10 Hockey team played in the Surrey Cup tournament on Thursday 17th March. They had a fantastic set of results in the pool matches, winning all their pool matches and finishing Top! The girls went onto the semi-finals against Downsend losing 0-3 and therefore went into the 3rd and 4th playoff and beat Cranleigh 1-0 to win the Bronze Medal.
The girls finished 3rd in the overall tournament, with Downsend and St Georges coming joint 1st.
Huge Well done to the ND girls and thank-you so much to Mr Mannering and Mrs Tomlinson for supporting the girls through the tournament.

Good Luck on Sunday
Good Luck to all the girls who are representing the school on Sunday 20th March at the National Schools Biathlon Event in Bath. Updates and results will be published next week as well as posted on twitter.
