U11 Surrey Hockey Tournament

U11 Hockey IAPS 2022

On Wednesday morning our U11A team went to play in the Surrey U11 Hockey Cup Tournament. It was a tough tournament with all schools performing to a very high standard.
The ND girls started off playing Rowan and despite many opportunities to score, we lost our first game 1-2.

The girls then went on to play Danes Hill, losing 1-2 and then Downsend, losing 0-5.

We followed this with a win against St Teresa’s 3-2.

The final game, after 80minutes of hockey, was against St Georges and the girls lost that match 0-5.

It wasn’t our day to score the goals but the on field play from the girls was exceptional. The whole ND team have shown so much progression from September and they had a wonderful morning playing 100minutes of hockey.

IAPS Swimming Qualifier

On Tuesday Mrs Jones took the following girls to Guildford High to compete in the IAPS Swimming Qualifier Event. The girls swam brilliantly with lots of PBs achieved! We will wait to hear whether any of them will progress further into the competition.

Swimming Gala v St Hilary’s

On Thursday night it was wonderful to welcome back our ND community and visiting parents to our prep swimming gala against St Hilary’s. The ND girls swam brilliantly, winning the gala and enjoying their hot sausage rolls for refreshments.

Netball

U9 Netball v CFS

On Monday a team of 7 Year 4 girls went to play Cobham Free School in a 7 aside match. This is the girls second time playing a 7aside game and they played such wonderful netball. The ND team lost the game 0-7 and Monday just wasn’t our day for shooting. The girls defended brilliantly, moved the ball down the court with ease but were unable to get the goals through the net. There were so many positives to take away from the match, I am so proud of the team and their performance! Well done Team ND
