U11 v St George’s
Thank-you to St Georges for coming to play the U11A-C teams on Tuesday. It was a glorious afternoon of cricket and although the ND girls didn’t win any of their matches, they showed some great skills and improvement in their knowledge of the game.
U10 v Milbourne Lodge
The U10 girls team had fantastic afternoon despite the unpredictable weather in their match against Milbourne Lodge. The girls on both teams played incredibly well, thank you for the match.
U9 Cricket v CLFS
On Friday 13th May following our Feast Day celebration the U9 girls played CLFS in a cricket match. The girls played wonderful cricket and have improved so much in the batting, bowling and fielding skills. The ND teams won 2 out of the 3 matches and a great afternoon was had by all.
U8 v GHS
Thank-you to GHS who hosted us for cricket on Monday, despite the rain the girls were still able to play an adapted version of cricket in the sports hall. They worked on their batting, running and fielding skills and have all shown huge improvement in their skills.
Tennis
St Teresa’s Tournament
On Saturday 12 girls from Year 3 to 6 went to play friendly matches at St Teresa’s school. It was a beautiful morning for tennis. For some of the ND girls this was their first tennis match.
The girls 2 doubles matches against the St Teresa’s teams.
Harriet and Olive won both their matches in the U9 games
Dorthe and Josephine won both their matches in the U9 games
Poppy and Charlotte lost both their games in the U10 games, but show great development from their first to second match.
Lauren and Holly won both their matches in the U9 games
Martha and Elisia won their first match
Ella and Alex lost their first match
Swimming
Thank you to our wonderful swimming captains for all their hard work in supporting Mrs Jones and the swimming team. A wonderful evening of swimming celebrations and we wish our IAPS girls the best of luck on the 11th June. a full report will be included in the Friday Mailing after half term!

Year 6 Long Jump Training
The girls were on top form at training this week – we clearly have some talented long jumpers!
