Prep Netball Surrey Storm Training Session and Match

On Saturday 29th April a group of 24 girls from Year 5 and 6 attending a Surrey Storm coaching experience followed by watching the Super League match London Pulse v Surrey Storm. The girls started the afternoon with a 2hr coaching session with the Surrey Storm player Felisitus Kwangwa who is the Zimbabwean team netball captain. The girls coaching session happened on the match court and were training while Sky sports were setting up all their cameras in the arena. At 6:00pm the girls watched the league match and thoroughly enjoyed their experience.

U11 Cricket v Downsend

Well done to the U11B, C and D teams who played their first cricket match of the season on Tuesday. The girls showed great progress with their batting  and bowling skills as well as applying the fielding skills we have been focusing on in lessons.

U10 Surrey Tennis Festival

U10 Tennis Pairs at St George's Tennis Festival

Well done to the U10 Tennis team who represented the school at the Surrey Tennis Festival on Wednesday. They played some great tennis and learnt all about self-umpiring  as well as developing doubles match play throughout the day.

IAPS National Swimming Finals 2023

IAPS have now finalised the swimming results and we have had some brilliant results again this year!

I am delighted to say that several ND girls have been successful in gaining a place in the finals.

3 of our relay teams qualified – U10 Freestyle, U11 Freestyle and the U11 Medley. Unfortunately the U10 Medley relay team finished 21st just one place outside the qualifying positions.

3 of the Girls qualified for individual races – U10 Freestyle, U11 Freestyle and U11 Backstroke

Well done girls, this is a huge achievement!

Martha and Belle at Roses Rugby Final.jpg

Martha and Belle went to Twickenham to watch England Red Roses play France in the six nations rugby tournament.

The game was nail biting with England winning 38-33. We were also part of a world record breaking crowd at a ladies rugby match 53,498 people. It was an amazing day!
