🏐 Year 2 Netball Afternoon – Fixture vs Rowan

Our Year 2 girls had a fantastic experience during their first-ever away fixture, playing netball against Rowan. The excitement was evident from the start, as the girls embraced the challenge and enjoyed every moment of the afternoon.

They demonstrated great enthusiasm and teamwork on the court, applying the skills they’ve been learning in practice. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as the games progressed, with plenty of smiles and encouragement shared among teammates.

The highlight for many was not just the netball, but also the delicious hot chocolate to finish the day – a perfect treat after an action-packed afternoon!

A big well done to all the girls for their effort, positivity, and sportsmanship. This was a memorable first fixture, and we look forward to many more exciting opportunities ahead.

U11 Girls Netball vs St Teresa’s – Match Report

Our U11 girls played their first netball fixture against St Teresa’s, marking an exciting transition from hockey to netball. We took four teams to compete, and the afternoon was filled with energy and enthusiasm.

The girls showed fantastic determination and adaptability, achieving a mix of wins and losses across the teams. For many, this was their first competitive netball match, and they approached it with confidence and teamwork. It was a very positive start to the season, and the experience will undoubtedly help them grow in skill and understanding of the game.

Well done to all the players for their effort and sportsmanship – a great foundation for the matches ahead!

Prior’s Field Gymnastics Competition Report

Notre Dame was proudly represented in the U11 and U13 categories at the Prior’s Field Gymnastics Competition. Each gymnast performed a vault and a Novice floor routine, showcasing their skill and dedication. The girls delivered beautiful performances on both floor and vault, impressing judges and spectators alike.

The teams achieved fantastic results, bringing home several medals. In the U11 category, Miabella secured 1st place on floor, while Clara achieved an excellent 3rd place on floor.

In the U13 category, Isabella demonstrated outstanding ability, earning 2nd place on floor and 3rd place on vault.

Congratulations to all the gymnasts for their hard work and success, a wonderful representation of Notre Dame’s talent and team spirit!
