Thank you Freemens for a great afternoon of Yr3&4 hockey. The ND girls played fantastic hockey, showing great progression since the start of the term.

U11A team who are playing in a triangular tournament this weekend against Danes Hill and Downsend

Thank you to Danes Hill for hosting a Triangular on Saturday with Downsend. It was a great morning of hockey, the U11 girls lost their first match against DH 2-1 and won against Downsend 2-1!

On Tuesday our U11C&D hockey teams played in the Downsend tournament. The girls played superb hockey throughout the tournament and were well-deserved silver and gold medalists! A triumphant afternoon on the hockey pitch.

The U11 IAPS hockey girls had a great day at their regional tournament, they topped their group in the morning playing some superb hockey. Heartbreakingly they got knocked out in the Cup 1/4 finals on Flicks! They should be so proud of their performance and team spirit!


National Schools Biathlon Qualifier

Well done to all those girls who represented the school on Sunday at the national schools Biathlon qualifier. Thank you too, to all the parent and staff volunteers who made the day run smoothly. Results will be put up on the Pentathlon GB website. 


Congratulation to the Notre Dame swimming squad on two fantastic galas last week.

ND v GHS and Halstead

On Tuesday we raced against GHS and Halstead at GHS and all the girls from the swimming squad took part. Notre Dame raced well and gained a lot from the experience.

We came 2nd to GHS.

ND v Rowan

On Thursday we hosted a gala against Rowan and again it was a great gala with lots of close races.

Notre Dame scored 119 points and Rowan 101 – Well done to both schools, some really lovely swimming. Thank you to all the supporters and helpers.

Next Gala

The next Gala is away to St Catherine’s on Wednesday 9th Nov, and then we are away against St Teresa’s on the 24th November. Team sheets will be displayed on the sports notice board and girls will be invited via the new Socs system (email)

U10 A v Tormead

This week we have had our first netball matches of the season against Tormead. The Year 5 girls played on Monday, in some very exciting matches. The A team lost 0-4, B team lost 1-3. Well done Emily and Amelie who were voted players of the match.

U11 A-D v Tormead

 On Tuesday Tormead returned for the U11 matches. The ND girls will be switching their focus from hockey to netball after half term. 

The matches were very exciting with goal-to-goal games. 

The results 

A team lost 6-7

B team lost 1-11

C team won 4-2

D team won 8-2

Thank you to Year 5 girls who made up our D team as the other half of year 6 were at a hockey tournament.

Sophia Selected Arsenal Mascot!

Sophia P (Year 3) had a very exciting day last weekend as a specially selected Arsenal mascot.

She had to be very brave not only walking out in front of 60,000 people but was also interviewed live on camera in the stadium before the game! She did so well!
