Netball

Amelia Smith - Surrey Storm Aspire Programme

After successful trials Amelia S (Year 10) will represent Surrey Storm in the U17 Aspire Programme which follows the same structured programme as other academy athletes, helping players to improve technique, match play and technical abilities. Aspire provides a pathway to the Player Development Programme enabling more netballers to compete at an elite level.

Swimming

During the Christmas holidays Serena G attended the Hillingdon Swimming Open Meet and the Arena League Competition. During the Hillingdon competition she participated in 10 races and won 9 medals, 5 gold, 3 silver and a bronze:  

Serena Swimming Medals

– Gold medal in 200 fly with a time of 2:40.05

– Gold medal in 100 fly with a time of 1:13.77 – For 100 fly she also won her race in the Arena league competition with a time of 1:11.28

– Gold medal in 50 fly with a time of 31.90

– Gold medal in 400 IM with a time of 5: 34.26

– Gold medal in 200 Back with a time of 2:32.96

– Silver medal in 100 back with a time of 1:11.75

– Silver medal in 50 back with a time of 33.35

– Silver medal in 200 free with a time of 2:19.47

– Bronze medal in 100 free with a time of 1:04.35

Well done Serena on a superb set of results and medals!
