Hockey
Last Friday 47 girls from Years 7 – 12 had a great day watching Pro League hockey at Lee Valley. After the matches they enjoyed meeting members of the women’s team: Lily Walker Fiona Crackles, Anna Toman, Lizzie Neal and captain Hollie Webb. They also had an opportunity to meet members of the men’s Dutch and Spanish Teams after their matches too!

Netball
Freya Plays for Wandsworth at London Youth Games
On Sunday 18th June Freya represented Wandsworth Borough for netball at this year’s London Youth Games. Freya and her team won all 7 matches and entered the final play offs.
There was some incredible netball displayed by all athletes and Freya and her team gained third place out of 33 London Boroughs earning a bronze medal which was presented to her by Funmi Fadoju, England netball player.

Miila E Selected to Play at England Hockey Talent Academy
Miila E has been selected to represent Wimbledon’s Talent Academy at the England Hockey Talent Academy Festival up in Nottingham, 29th-31st July. Here Miila will play against other Talent Academies from across England, Wales and Northern Ireland and have the chance to be scouted by the England Age Group coaches.
