Well done to these wonderful girls who put in a great effort last weekend, achieving personal bests in their swim and run.

Lexi came 1st in the 100m swim with a PB and with her run came 4th overall, helping her Notre Dame Team with a 2nd place!

Thank you to Miss Mulcahy for supporting the girls in the pool and to Mrs Purgavie for her support on the track!

Cross Country

Year 7 & 8 at Danes Hill Event

Year 7 and 8 Cross Country Team at Danes Hill Event

On Tuesday morning a combined team of Year 7 and 8 runners took part in a big cross-country competition hosted at Danes Hill School. The six girls all ran extremely well over the 3km undulating course and as a result of their placings came 3rd overall as a team, a fantastic achievement!

Individual placings were as follows out of a field of over 60 competitors:

Julia McD – 15th

Ella H – 20th

Sophia N – 24th

On Tuesday after school the Year 7s had their Inter-House Hockey competition and it was good to see so many girls participating and a lot of goals being scored! In both the A + B tournaments the results were exactly the same with LESTONNAC the champions, Montaigne in 2nd place, Eyquem 3rd and Montferrant 4th. Congratulations to everyone who took part and represented their House.

On Thursday after school it was the Year 9 Inter-House Hockey competition; this was played in a nice supportive atmosphere whilst at the same time being competitive. The results were as follows:

1st – MONTFERRANT

2nd – Montaigne

3rd – Eyquem

4th – Lestonnac
