What a Results Day! 👏
Today, our Year 11 girls collected GCSE results they can be truly proud of, achieving an outstanding 52% of grades at 7-9 (equivalent to A*-A grades). This represents a fantastic 4% increase on last year’s results and places Notre Dame well above the current national average of 22%.
Behind every grade is a story of hard work, determination, resilience and ambition. These results reflect not only the dedication and commitment of our students, but also the encouragement of their families, the expertise of our staff and the strength of the Notre Dame community that supports every girl throughout her journey.
GCSE Results Day is always filled with unforgettable moments of pride, joy, hugs and happy tears, and this year was no exception. It was wonderful to see so many proud parents celebrating alongside their daughters as they opened envelopes and discovered the rewards of months, and indeed years, of hard work.
We are also delighted to celebrate another remarkable achievement. Notre Dame has been awarded ALPS Grade 1, placing us in the top 1% nationally for Value Added. This is a truly exceptional recognition and reflects the outstanding progress our students make during their time with us. Being ranked in the top 1% nationally demonstrates the unwavering commitment of our staff to ensuring every girl is supported, challenged and empowered to reach her full potential.
Today, we celebrate our students and everything they have achieved. We celebrate the families who have supported them every step of the way and the wider Notre Dame community that inspires and encourages them to succeed.
