Year 2 Launch Australia Topic in Style

Year 2 had an amazing start to their new Humanities topic, Australia. Class 2B came dressed in holiday outfits and “boarded a plane” as they jetted off to explore this fascinating continent.

Throughout the day the girls enjoyed a range of exciting activities including learning to play the didgeridoo creating Aboriginal style artwork and making ‘fairy bread’ a traditional party treat.

It was a fantastic introduction to this incredible country and the girls are excited to continue their journey of discovery and learning.
