Year 4 Claymation Project

Y4 Claymation Presentations 2026

Year 4 Bring Stories to Life with Claymation

This half term, Year 4 pupils combined creativity with digital skills in an exciting Claymation project, bringing together Art and ICT in a hands on and imaginative way.

Working collaboratively, the girls showed fantastic creativity and teamwork as they developed their own stop motion films from start to finish. From crafting detailed clay characters and building sets, to planning storylines, filming scenes, recording voiceovers and editing their final productions, every stage of the process reflected their enthusiasm and dedication.

A particular highlight was their visit to the Innovation Space, where they proudly premiered their completed films on the big screen. The session also included Mr Munt explaining how green screen technology works, demonstrating how scenes can be transformed by adding custom backgrounds in real time, much to the delight of everyone watching.

This experience also gave the girls a glimpse of what lies ahead, as girls in Year 7 now have the opportunity to take part in a new film making course and develop these skills even further in a supportive all girls environment that encourages confidence, creativity and collaboration.

All of the completed films and photos have now been uploaded to Firefly and can be viewed by following the link below.
