Year 6 Leavers’ Celebration: A Wonderful Farewell
On Wednesday morning, Year 6, their families, and staff came together for a special celebration to mark the end of the girls’ Prep School journey and to recognise all they have achieved during their time here.
The event began with a nostalgic slideshow, taking everyone on a trip down memory lane. From baby photos to their earliest school days, the images captured the girls’ growth over the years and prompted plenty of smiles, laughter, and a few emotional moments from the audience.
A range of awards was then presented, celebrating the girls’ achievements across the curriculum and recognising qualities such as resilience, perseverance, effort, endeavour, and all-round contribution to school life. It was wonderful to see so many pupils acknowledged for their hard work and dedication.
Throughout the morning, guests enjoyed an impressive programme of performances, including dance, music, poetry, and speeches. Each contribution reflected the confidence, talent, and character of this year’s Year 6 cohort, making the occasion both entertaining and memorable.
The celebration also provided an opportunity to reflect on the friendships formed, the challenges overcome, and the many successes achieved during the girls’ time at the Prep School.
A huge thank you to our Year 6 parents for their wonderful commemorative picture, which will take pride of place in the newly refurbished Pavilion. This thoughtful gift will serve as a lasting reminder of this special year group and their time at the school.
Congratulations, Year 6! You have been fantastic ambassadors for the school, and we are incredibly proud of all you have accomplished. As you prepare to begin the next stage of your educational journey, we wish you every success and happiness for the future.
