U12 Cricket v Howard of Effingham

Our Year 7 team made a fantastic start to the season with a 279–260 win. Lyla shone in the field with two great catches and two outs while bowling. Ivy and captain Martha led the scoring, with Martha earning Batter of the Match for her excellent performance. Megan was outstanding with the ball and named Bowler of the Match. Georgia R, Lyla, and Amy also impressed with a brilliant bowling streak, delivering their overs with no wides.

A strong team effort with lots of progress already and plenty to build on for the season ahead!

Tennis

Year 10 Tennis Fixture at St Teresa’s School

Our Year 10 girls took part in a friendly tennis fixture at St Teresa’s School. The matches were well played, with all teams showing teamwork and a positive attitude throughout.

Evelyn and Emelie played four matches. After a 4-1 loss in their first game, they found their rhythm and went on to win the next three matches 2-1, 2-0, and 1-0. Their steady improvement and strong communication on court were great to see.

Robyn and Olivia had a varied set of matches. They opened with a tight 2-1 win, followed by a 3-0 loss in their second match. They finished strongly with a closely fought 3-2 win, showing great resilience and teamwork.

Lucy and Val faced some tough opponents in their first two matches, losing 4-0 and 3-1, but their perseverance paid off with a 1-0 win in their final game. A solid finish and good effort throughout.

Overall, it was a productive fixture with plenty of positives. Well done to all the girls for their effort and sportsmanship.

If your daughter is interested in playing for a club but not sure where to start then please let me know and I will be more than happy to assist.

It would be really helpful to have an up to date list of all the netball clubs that our students are affiliated to so if possible, could you please drop me an email to provide the relevant details including, netball club, age group and position/s they play for that club. Thank you very much.
