U11 Hockey v Downsend
On Tuesday we took all of Yr6 to play hockey at Downsend School. For some girls, it was their very first hockey match. It was wonderful to see the girls getting stuck in and experiencing something for the first time, and for those who had played for TeamND before, showing off their skills learnt in previous years.
Results were 2 draws and 2 losses.
U11 Hockey Tournament
The U11 A team played on Saturday at the annual Downsend Hockey tournament.
The morning started off wet and damp, but the sunshine did finally come out. The ND girls put in a great effort in all games, with a mixed bag of results, 1 win, 1 draw and 3 losses but, they scored goals in every game they played and showed huge progression in the tournament.
