This week, our Year 10 students rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on with food science, investigating the fascinating process of enzymic browning.

Using apples as their test subject, they explored how exposure to oxygen causes colour changes, and how variables like vinegar, temperature, and covering methods can slow the process.

It was a brilliant blend of everyday food and scientific inquiry, sparking curiosity and critical thinking in the classroom. Well done, Year 10!
