U9 Hockey Festival at St George's

Hockey

U9 Hockey Festival vs St George’s JS

Last week the Notre Dame U9 hockey team enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of festival-style hockey against St George’s Junior School. The format allowed plenty of game time and gave the girls the chance to showcase their developing skills in a fun and competitive environment.

From the first whistle, the Notre Dame players impressed with their energy and teamwork. They carried the ball confidently, made strong passes, and demonstrated excellent attacking play, scoring some well-taken goals. Equally impressive was their defensive effort—closing down space quickly and making crucial tackles to keep their opponents at bay.

The coaches were delighted with the girls’ commitment and enthusiasm throughout the festival. Every player contributed to the team’s success, and the progress made since the start of the season was clear to see.

A brilliant afternoon of hockey and a great experience for the U9 squad—well done, Notre Dame!

U10 Netball Triangular Report

U10 Netball Triangular Tournament Nov 2025

The Notre Dame U10 netball team kicked off their season with a triangular fixture against St Teresa’s and HSA. With Teams A, B, C, and D all taking part, it was a fantastic opportunity for the girls to gain valuable match experience early in the season.

Despite being at the very start of their netball journey, the Notre Dame players showed great determination and teamwork throughout the day. Across the series of matches, they recorded a mix of results—winning some, drawing others, and narrowly losing a few. Each game highlighted their growing confidence and improving skills on court.

The atmosphere was brilliant, with plenty of encouragement and positivity from all sides. Coaches were impressed by the girls’ resilience and enthusiasm, and it was clear that the foundations for a successful season are being laid.

Overall, it was a great start to the season, and the team should be proud of their efforts.

Well done, Notre Dame!
