Postponed Fixtures
Sadly the weather has not been helpful to all the netball fixtures we had planned for this week, all the other schools we were due to play contacted us to cancel.
The U13 A and B tournament at St Teresa’s has been rearranged for the same timings on 5 February which will give year 8 some great netball experience, weather permitting. Parents are very welcome to come along and watch of course. Full details as always on Socs.
Next week the focus in Netball for the senior school will be on continuing to develop our attacking skills building on our 4 Key Principles of Court Balance, Tempo, Width and Vision/Depth.
A reminder that all netballers who play either GA or GS for any of the school teams must come to Shooting Practice on either a Monday or Tuesday lunchtime please. It is an essential requirement of playing for Notre Dame as a netball shooter that they do practice and have coaching to help develop their accuracy even further.
Let’s hope the weather next week is a bit kinder!
If any girl is thinking of joining a netball club (which we highly recommend) then please contact me and I am happy to make relevant introductions and suggest some options. We are in the middle of the netball season currently but post Easter clubs will be thinking about trials and advertising for players for next season starting in September. Let me know if I can in any way help.
Happy Weekend.
