Tormead Novice Gymnastics Competition Report
The annual Tormead Novice Gymnastics Competition brought together an enthusiastic group of young gymnasts from Years 4 to 8, all eager to showcase their developing skills and passion for the sport. The event featured two core disciplines: a set vault and a set floor routine, both designed to test technique, control, and confidence.
Throughout the day, every gymnast demonstrated impressive determination, resilience, and commitment. Many girls overcame personal challenges—whether it was nerves, new skills, or performance pressure—and rose to the occasion with maturity beyond their years. Their effort and team spirit were clear for all to see, and we could not be prouder of the progress and performances displayed across all age groups.
A special congratulations goes to two standout performers:
• Amelia (Year 8) – achieving an outstanding 2nd place in the U13 category.
• Aryeta – delivering a fantastic performance to secure 2nd place in the U10 category.
Both gymnasts showed excellent execution and composure, earning well-deserved podium finishes.
A huge well done to all the girls who took part. Their attitude, perseverance, and joy for gymnastics made the event a great success.
We look forward to building on this momentum in future competitions and seeing the continued growth of our talented gymnasts.
