U14B Netball Squad Against SWPS

U14 B Netball v SWPS

The U14B Netball team delivered a spirited and determined performance in their fixture against SWPS, showing excellent teamwork and support throughout. With several squad members stepping in to support the B team players, the group demonstrated real unity and adaptability on court.

ND made an impressive start, taking a 3–1 lead in the first quarter through sharp movement and accurate shooting. However, SWPS responded with some well executed tactical changes that shifted the momentum of the match. Despite a positive third quarter from ND and sustained defensive pressure, SWPS managed to pull ahead, finishing the game with a 13–7 win.

Most Valuable Players: Poppy H and Amelia H for their hard work, consistency and outstanding contribution across the court.

A great effort from the whole team – well done!

U15A Netball Secure Silver at St Teresa’s Versatility Tournament

With our Year 11s away on a trip, seven of our U15A players stepped up to compete in the St Teresas U16 Versatility Tournament on Wednesday 25 February. Facing two strong Year 11 teams from St Teresas and Sutton High, the girls showed impressive confidence, fitness and adaptability.

In the opening match against Sutton High, ND defended brilliantly, turning over the ball repeatedly and adapting well to rotating through every position. After trailing narrowly 2 to 3, the team produced an exceptional second quarter to lead 6 to 3 at half time and went on to win 9 to 5.

Their second match was a tougher challenge against a tall and experienced St Teresas squad. Despite being 9 to 4 down at half time, ND fought hard and drew the second half 2 to 2. The final score was 11 to 6, a strong result against older opposition.

Congratulations to Martha T, Annabelle L and Emma J, named Most Valuable Players by the opposition. Well done also to Poppy O, Daisy P, Bea C and Steph W, who all played brilliantly.

A fantastic achievement and a well deserved silver medal for our U15A team.

A special congratulations goes to the U16 team, who topped their age group with an excellent all‑round performance. There were standout individual swims from Martha T and Alex B, both demonstrating impressive speed and determination.
The team also showed real competitive intent in the relay events, putting their training into practice superbly and finishing the gala on a high.
