The U11 squad travelled to the IAPS Netball Tournament with great enthusiasm and determination, ready to test themselves against some of the strongest schools in the region. It proved to be a challenging but invaluable experience for the team, who showed impressive resilience and teamwork throughout the day.

Round-Robin Matches

The girls faced a tough line-up in the group stages, competing against well‑drilled and physically strong opposition. Despite the competitive environment, our players rose to the challenge and delivered moments of excellent netball, demonstrating improved movement, quick passing, and strong defensive pressure.
They recorded two well‑earned wins during the round-robin phase, showcasing their ability to stay composed and take their chances when it mattered. This placed them mid‑table in their group—an encouraging achievement considering the level of competition.

Even so, the match highlighted the squad’s growing confidence and commitment, with every player giving their all until the final whistle.

Overall Performance

Although the tournament was demanding, the girls displayed fantastic perseverance, positive attitudes, and impressive team spirit across all matches. They learned a great deal from playing against high-calibre teams and should be incredibly proud of how they represented the school.

Match Report: U10A & U10B Netball vs CFS – Tuesday

The U10A and U10B teams showed fantastic determination and teamwork on Tuesday as they took on CFS, who fielded a strong mixed boys’ and girls’ squad. Despite the physicality and speed of the opposition, our girls rose to the challenge brilliantly, playing with confidence, resilience, and great spirit.

U10A Team

The A team demonstrated impressive structure and ball movement throughout the match. Their defensive pressure caused real difficulties for CFS, with Theia standing out for her excellent marking. She consistently disrupted passes, forced turnovers, and showed great awareness around the D.
In attack, the team worked the ball beautifully through the court, creating several scoring opportunities. Marina was a real highlight in the shooting circle, showing composure under pressure and finishing several chances with accuracy. The group’s teamwork and communication were clear strengths, and their positive attitude never dipped.

U10B Team

The B team also delivered a strong performance, showing brilliant effort against a fast and enthusiastic CFS side. They demonstrated developing passing accuracy, solid spacing, and real hunger to win the ball back. Each player contributed, supporting one another and applying skills learned in training.
While the match was competitive throughout, the girls maintained excellent sportsmanship and continued to improve as the game went on. Their movement off the ball and defensive marking were particularly encouraging.

Match Report: U9 Netball vs Milbourne Lodge

The U9 girls enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of netball against Milbourne Lodge, making the most of the lovely weather and the chance to put their skills into action. From the first centre pass, the girls played with energy, enthusiasm, and fantastic team spirit.

They moved the ball confidently through the court, showing great spacing and increasingly accurate passing. Their defending was determined, with players working hard to intercept and mark tightly, while in attack they created several excellent opportunities with clever movement around the D.
Most importantly, the girls supported one another beautifully—celebrating good play, encouraging their teammates, and displaying excellent sportsmanship throughout. It was clear to see how much they are developing as a team and how much they enjoyed the match.
