U13 B, C & D Cricket v SWPS
The U13B, C and D teams enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of cricket on Tuesday against SWPS, with all three teams displaying great enthusiasm, teamwork and noticeable improvement throughout their matches.
The U13D team should be especially proud of their performance, securing a well-deserved win. The girls showed increasing confidence with both bat and ball, applying pressure in the field and taking their chances when they came. It was a thoroughly positive team effort and a brilliant result to celebrate.
The U13C team faced a closely contested match and were unlucky to come away on the losing side, falling just 11 runs short. It was an impressive performance, with some excellent batting partnerships and committed fielding that kept the game competitive until the final overs. The narrow margin reflects how hard the team worked throughout.
Similarly, the U13B team were involved in another tight fixture. Despite narrowly losing, the girls demonstrated strong skill levels and determination, producing some excellent passages of play. Their resilience and effort were clear to see, making it a very encouraging performance overall.
Across all three teams, it was wonderful to see such positive attitudes, teamwork and enjoyment of the game. Well done to everyone involved for representing the school so brilliantly and making it an afternoon of exciting and competitive cricket.
