Owls
🦉 Owls Forest School Adventure 🦉
This week, the Owls put their woodland skills into action! They carefully guided the toy animals safely around a pretend fire and assessed how the activity could be made even safer, suggesting longer sticks for roasting the cotton wool “marshmallows.” Fantastic risk-and-benefit thinking from everyone involved!
The children also enjoyed making and eating cold s’mores before working together to put up a tarp shelter, using their learned woodland skills to create some extra shade. We were so impressed with their teamwork, problem-solving and growing independence.
