The Montaigne Theatre came alive on Tuesday evening for a vibrant and uplifting Dance Showcase, celebrating the tremendous talent and dedication of dancers from across the Prep and Senior School. The performance featured an exciting variety of styles, including ballet, tap, contemporary and street dance, all performed by girls ranging from Reception through to Year 12, highlighting the breadth and inclusivity of the school’s dance community.
Each piece reflected the hard work and commitment shown in clubs throughout the year, with energy and enthusiasm shining through in every performance. The audience was also treated to a number of outstanding solos, showcasing an impressive level of skill and artistry.
With creative touches throughout — from basketballs and shades to charming ‘Little Red Riding Hood’- the showcase was both dynamic and memorable. Poppy Houghton even returned from study leave to compère the evening and did a fantastic job.
Miss Fletcher and Mrs Cesar were incredibly proud of all the dancers.
The evening was a joyful celebration of their achievement, teamwork and passion for dance.
