A big congratulations to the Year 10 Bronze DofE girls who successfully completed their assessed expedition over the weekend (9th-10th May).
55 Notre Dame girls navigated the Surrey Hills in 10 groups, carrying full rucksacks and armed with maps and compasses.
The girls set off early Saturday morning from Ockley Cricket Green, camped at the glorious Mill, in Forest Green and arrived safely back to Milton Heath in Dorking on Sunday afternoon.
The weather was in their favour, and they enjoyed six hours of hiking each day, sleeping in tents and cooking on stoves.
Well Done girls- I look forward to hopefully seeing many of you take on the challenge of Silver DofE next year !
