Junior Sports Day 2026 🏅
Junior Sports Day was a fantastic occasion, showcasing the talent, determination and team spirit of all the girls across the Junior School. The competitors put in excellent individual and team performances throughout the day, taking part in a wide range of events including the hurdles, long jump, javelin and sprints.
The standard of competition was exceptionally high, with pupils demonstrating great commitment, perseverance and sportsmanship as they competed for valuable points for their houses. Every participant should be proud of the effort and enthusiasm they showed throughout the event.
There were some truly outstanding performances on the day. A special congratulations goes to Theia R in Year 5, who set a new Year 5 record in the 600m, producing a superb display of endurance and determination. Congratulations also to Miabella in Year 5, who broke the Year 5 Long Jump record with an impressive leap of 3.66 metres.
Congratulations must also go to the girls who were recognised for their exceptional performances across the day and were awarded Best in Year honours:

• Alicia
• Miabella
• Grace S, who was also the proud recipient of the BARA Cup for her outstanding achievements.
The eagerly anticipated House Relays provided a thrilling conclusion to the day, with congratulations going to the winning houses:
• Years 3 and 4 Relay Champions – Michel
• Year 5 Relay Champions – Michel
• Year 6 Relay Champions – Richard
Well done to all the girls who took part and contributed to their house teams. Their effort, enthusiasm and competitive spirit helped make Junior Sports Day a tremendous success and a memorable occasion for everyone involved. The day was a wonderful celebration of athletic achievement, determination and teamwork, and all competitors should be extremely proud of their efforts.
Overall House Results
Following the completion of both the Infant and Junior Sports Days, the combined house point totals produced an incredibly close and exciting final leaderboard.
Congratulations to all pupils for the points they contributed to their houses throughout the events. The final standings were:
1. Michel – 1,724 points 🏆
2. Gaston – 1,638 points
3. Jeanne – 1,630 points
4. Richard – 1,542 points
A huge congratulations to Michel House, who were crowned the overall Sports Day Champions for 2026. The competition was fiercely contested across all year groups, and every pupil played an important role in contributing towards their house’s success. Well done to all competitors for making this year’s Sports Days such a memorable celebration of athletic achievement, teamwork and school spirit.
