National Schools Biathlon Finals
Last weekend, an impressive group of girls from Years 4, 5, 7, and 13 represented the school at the National Schools Biathlon Finals. Qualifying for this event is a significant achievement, with hundreds of competitors entering the earlier qualifying rounds. Each of our athletes performed with determination, composure, and great competitive spirit.
Although there were a few moments of organisational chaos on the day, the girls adapted brilliantly, delivering strong efforts in both the run and the swim. Even though I wasn’t able to attend in person, it certainly sounded like the team had an exciting and rewarding experience from start to finish.
Year 13
This was Ciara’s 10th and final time representing Team ND at this National competition. Huge thanks for being such an outstanding role model to the younger girls.
Final Result:
• Ciara – 6th overall
A phenomenal achievement, placing inside the top 10 nationally. Ciara’s result highlights her strength, consistency, and competitive maturity.
