Splash and Dash
Well done to all the girls from Year 3-6 who took part in the Splash and Dash event on Friday 3rd December. It was the first event to be held since December 2019. All the girls have brilliant personal performances which led to great team results.
The U10 and U11 girls finished 2nd in their age groups and the u9 girls 3rd. As a school we finished 2nd overall out of the 6 school that took part. It was great to be back at one of our favourite events and we are already looking forward to next year.
U9 Festive Hockey Tournament
On Monday afternoon the Year 4 girls took part in their final hockey fixture of the term, playing in a festive hockey tournament at Downsend School. It was a fun afternoon and a great way to end the school sporting fixtures for 2021.
Swimathon 2021/22
Last week the girls took part in an ‘Inter-House Swimathon’.
I was really impressed with the stamina shown by all the girls.
Well done to all the girls who took part. The top 3 scores in each year groups are listed below along with the girls who achieved 30 or more lengths.
Girls achieving over 30 lengths will be awarded a green book entry, as well as Best in Year.

These house points will be added to the totals.
All the lengths completed have been added up and divided by the number of girls in the house to work out the positions.

For all those girls taking part in the biathlon on Saturday 8th January, please make sure you keep fit over the holidays, running and swimming regularly. You should have received a message this week with further information.
