Swimming Squad Invites:

During the girls first swimming lesson I have been assessing their ability and timing them over 25 meters. From this information I am inviting girls to attend swimming squads.

The infant and Development invite letters have been sent today (Friday 10th Sept) . The year 5 & 6 invites will be sent out on Tuesday (14th Sept) once I have seen 5S.

Please note the Year 5 & 6 training will start on Thursday 16th Sept.

If your daughter is disappointed not to receive an invite to join at this point please let her know that I am continuously assessing the girls and I may add to the team over the next few weeks.

Regarding Infant Swimming Squad – This will start on Tuesday 21st September and at the moment this will only include invited year 2 girls, I may extend this to a few year 1 girls nearer to Christmas if their confidence and technique progresses well.

The Year 3 & 4 swimming squad will start on Tuesday 14th Sept. The girls will meet Mrs Mulcahy at the Chapel steps at the end of the school day and will be taken to the pool.

If you have any questions regarding swimming squad selections please email me and I will be happy to discuss.

If your daughter has been selected it would be lovely if she can attend as many sessions as possible, again please let me know if you have any questions regarding swimming squad.

Kind regards

Mrs Jones
