Owls Forest School Fun

The children enjoyed some sensible tool use today as they used mallets to carefully bash out unique leaf designs onto calico cloth. Their hard work resulted in beautiful handmade bookmarks, each one featuring its own natural pattern. A wonderful mix of creativity, concentration and outdoor learning.

Reception

Forest School Creativity in Reception

The Reception girls worked brilliantly as a team in Forest School today, constructing a strong castle using natural materials. They carefully wove wool around the structure to reinforce it, allowing them to add a sturdy roof and strong walls. Their teamwork and problem solving really shone through.

They also put their weaving skills to use by helping to crochet a shamrock as a symbol of Saint Patrick, adding a lovely touch of creativity and cultural learning to the session. ☘️
