U13A v Manor House
The U13A side produced a superb all-round performance in their cricket fixture against MHS, securing an impressive victory by over 20 runs in what proved to be an excellent contest played under increasingly challenging conditions.
A particularly pleasing aspect of the performance was the team’s resilience and adaptability. With dark clouds gathering, both sides were aware of the impending weather, yet the U13A players kept their concentration, pushing to complete the match in the dry. Their efficiency and urgency ensured the game was played to a conclusion just before the downpour arrived — a testament to their organisation and awareness.
Ultimately, the U13A side deservedly emerged victorious by more than 20 runs, a result built on strong batting partnerships, disciplined bowling, and an excellent team fielding performance.
This was a well-rounded team display and a great example of how playing with focus, teamwork, and positivity can deliver outstanding results.
